Why we built Ode

Every year we watched people struggle with the same problem: how do you give a gift that actually means something? Flowers wilt. Gift cards feel impersonal. And words on a card, however heartfelt, never quite capture what you really want to say.

Music is different. Songs reach places words can't. They carry memory, emotion, and meaning in a way nothing else does. But commissioning a real song, with real lyrics, real music, and a real performance, was something only celebrities could afford.

We built Ode to change that. We take three memories, a feeling, and an occasion, and turn them into an original song in minutes. Not a template. Not a playlist. A song written only for that one person, on that one day.

The response has been humbling. People tell us about the tears, the laughter, the moments of genuine surprise when they heard their story come back to them as music. That's what Ode is for.
